On Hugh Hewitt’s program, Oklahoma Sen. Jim Inhofe said: “I just hope the president keeps talking about it, keeps trying to rush it through. We can stall it. And that’s going to be a huge gain for those of us who want to turn this thing over in the 2010 election.”

I am not really too enthused about the health care proposal that Oklahoma’s other U.S. senator, Tom Coburn, has come up with, but any suggestion is better than Inhofe’s suggestion.
According to Kaiser Family Health Research in 2007, 20.2% of Oklahomans under age 18 had NO health insurance and 79.8% of Oklahomans between 19 and 64 had NO health insurance.

Inhofe is positive that he and the rest of the GOP can stall anything or anyone suggests he wants you to stay sick until the GOP wins back the Congress. Depriving 80% of adult Oklahomans and 20% of Oklahoma’s children of health care will be a “huge gain for those of us who want to turn this thing over in the 2010 election.”
How much clearer can he make it? If you can manage to stay alive and hang on until 2010 without any kind of health care you can vote for him?
Oh, joy, and then the GOP, if they win will do for your health exactly what they have been doing since they decided profit should trump health care, which is they will continue to do exactly as HMOs and the big pharmaceutical companies tell them. They will continue to allow them to cover whatever will cost them less money.
How many Oklahomans could die from no health care in 18 months?
Jim Inhofe could not possibly care less about the health of you or your family if it stands in the way of the GOP getting Congress back. He has received a lot of money from HMOs and drug companies.
