Thank God For Louisiana

on

BY KENNY BELFORD

Oklahoma made another Top Ten list. This one isn’t from David Letterman, it’s from story just published by U.S. News & World Report.

Their story cites a new index that ranks states in brain health. They have two lists: One that lists the healthiest and one that ranks the least healthiest.

Guess which list Oklahoma made?

The story states in part, “Washington, DC, and nine brain-healthy states made the top 10 list. Here are the 10 lowest-ranking states: Indiana, North Dakota, South Carolina, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Oklahoma and, dead last, Louisiana.”

At least we beat Louisiana.

I’m sure our Republican buddies will cite this as an example of why we need to further reduce funding in education and health care measures. They seem to have become inflicted first.
