The world is watching to see what Oklahoma does in the case of Julius Jones, scheduled to be executed Nov. 18 for the murder of Edmond businessman Paul Howell. The state Pardon and Parole Board, citing doubts about Jones’ guilt, recommended Gov. Kevin Stitt commute Jones’ sentence to life with the possibility of parole.
