Contrary, Mary

U.S. Rep. Mary Fallin, R-OK, had no problems whatsoever giving corporate welfare to the CEOs so they could produce this robber-baron crash we are in, and still she thinks the wealthy thieves need more help with their taxes.

Now there she is talking about how sad it is that the robber-barons won’t get any more tax cuts. Boo-hoo.

This woman and the rest of the Oklahoma delegation never saw a monetary gift for the wealthy that they didn’t like. She didn’t mind putting our grandchildren in debt to pay for wars that were waged for the benefits of the rich war industry and she didn’t mind doing it for the oil people whether they created jobs or not.

I still remember all the promises she, as lieutenant governor, and then-Gov. Frank Keating gave us if we would pass right to work. Nothing panned out, except Dollar Tree and all the help for the private prison industry.

She helped create this mess by deregulating the war-mongers and the war profiteers.

Now she is running for governor.

  1. Karen: Good point(s). Hopefully readers/voters will remember the wonderful promises Fallin et all make when they come asking for our votes. Maybe it’s time to send them all packing and start over. At least it might take a while for the newbies to get the hang of baloney.
