The latest Tea Bag conservative joke is Delaware GOP Senate nominee Christine O’Donnell who has made a career of her obsession with homosexuality and masturbation. Why did she run as a Republican? Jim Inhofe and Tom Coburn have been providing the political version of the latter across the state for years and no one seems to mind.
Regardless of O’Donnell’s entertainment value, none of this has anything to do with governess of the nation. However, to state the obvious is dangerous in Republican circles. Even Karl Rove retreated to the GOP bathroom to avoid further slings and arrows of outrageous thinking.
O’Donnell, like State Reps. Sally Kern and Rex Duncan [now running for Osage/Pawnee County District Attorney offering to save those good folk from the dark forces of Islam and liberals], and Rep. Dr. Mike Ritze have done nothing to solve a problem, create a job, comfort the afflicted, heal the wounded or provide any social or political justification for their actions. They want to keep the fearful fearing, the poor poor, the haters hating.
Watching the American conservative’s struggle for power over the populace is amazing at the very least. Last week it was the dangers of Islam, especially as it pertained to President Obama and our millions of Arab/Asian neighbors who just happen to be Muslim instead of snake wielding Christian faith healers.
All of these brick bats – that Obama is a closet Muslin, Obama embraces Liberation Theology, and finally Obama is anti-colonial do nothing to further governess of the republic.
Did Newt Gingrich ever notice this republic was born from the anti-colonial fervor of a bunch of guys who wrote the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution?
Making sex or anyone’s sexual orientation a campaign issue is hypocrisy of the highest order. Notice Ms. O’Donnell said nothing of fornication and oral sex. Is her silence an endorsement? Don’t know, don’t care.
There are some very weird people in Kansas who go to funerals of fallen service people damming homosexuals. This ghastly behavior is allowed under our laws. They do it in the name of Christianity.
Should all Christians therefore be hounded from the front door of their homes to their places of worship? I use the Roman Catholic Bible – do I get to burn the St. James version? Don’t think many of Protestant friends would approve.
These comparisons are silly, but it has become the nature of the conservative and tea bag campaigns to engage in silliness. This is done to avoid having to admit that they don’t have a plan to reinvigorate the country.
Their idea of invigoration is to provide the “haves” with more while taking away from middle and lower classes what dignity they have managed to salvage following eight years of political buffoonery and a disproven political agenda that wrecked the economy and killed hundreds of thousands worldwide.
If the tea bag people and “Conservative Patriots” really want to save America then they should start working on problem solving. And, you are not going to solve problems of pollution, education, war, housing, medical delivery systems, food delivery and the other things confronting this country by peeping in the windows of your neighbors bedrooms and religious centers.
Gingrich recently raises the specter of Sharia Law and its many dangers, which he failed to enumerate. His Oklahoma idiot counterpart, Rex Duncan, has been harping on this for some months now.
As noted, Duncan has serious gaps in his secular and religious education. As a “B” player in Gingrich’s Islamic dumb and dumber act he is trying to convince Osage/Pawnee County voters he is “protecting” them. Seems the retiring District Attorney managed to protect these same people with dignity, civility and at times humility. Duncan fails to possess any of these qualities and therefore generates fear based on ignorance and intolerance. Hurray for Tea Bag loonies everywhere.
If you really want to know what Duncan, O’Donnell and their fellow travelers have in store for this republic, look no further than Sen. Tom Coburn and the health of his constituency.
The collective Coburn, O’Donnell, Tea Bag conservative health message is simple “F—Off and Die.” Coburn has repeatedly blocked health measures in favor of his conservative political agenda.
It appears he cares not one wit how many mothers and daughters die of breast cancer, veterans are left grubbing in the gutters seeking healthcare givers, or children die from lack of inspection of the food delivery system. They may be dead, but they died helping Coburn fight the liberals.
Like O’Donnell and tea bag conservatives who want to hammer home their political agenda with the deaths of the underclass, Coburn lives well, has government health care, a good job with lots of perks and retirement benefits. He’s just not that interested in his constituency having the same.
O’Donnell wants to cut many of the same programs as Coburn and the tea bag people, saving American lives is not on the tea bag agenda. Coburn apparently just doesn’t care.
Family health is not too great a price for the conservative agenda. Allowing loved ones to die for the conservative agenda is a mark of true patriotism.

Great article. Communicates exactly what I have been trying to tell my conservative family and friends. But since they are more “patriotic” and listen to Fox “News” they obviously know more than I do.
I really don’t mind if Conservatives want to screw themselves over but when they screw me over I find that frustrating.
I see no need in Oklahomans’ use of the term “tea bag”. I thought we had more class? Please do not stoop so low. There is no need to join the vulgarity we hear from the “media”.
come on, Oklahoma, keep it professional.
