A progressive tide continues to surge in Oklahoma’s largest county. Not only did statewide Democratic candidates Joy Hofmeister and Jena Nelson outperform their GOP opponents in the county last November, but more Democrats than Republicans voted in Feb. 14’s county clerk primaries and progressive JoBeth Hamon withstood an establishment, intra-party challenge to claim a second term on the OKC Council.
