So the United States Senate says we will hide our abuses. I think they think that the world doesn’t care, but I do. I think anything you hide will eventually come out and – guess what? – the Obama Administration will be complicit in the same way that helping hide a body makes you guilty of the crime.
Please do not ever complain about abuses in any other country, ever, not ever, ever or ever because you have no right to do that. These victims of our abuses will never get a fair hearing.
There is no light shining on this administration. The only reason to hide these photos is because they are much worse. That is the only logical conclusion. Saying that they will remind the enemy is extremely stupid because the enemy has the other pictures or can access them and remind themselves.
These are much worse and hiding them won’t make it better. I guess if the people involved in the abuses at Abu Ghraib had not released them the Obama Administration would just go along with the Bushes and say, “it never happened.”
Do not ever embarrass the entire country by executing any more people in any country for saying they were following orders because it means nothing.
Who would have thought that a constitutional law professor would come out in favor of making hiding evidence legal – or for that matter that it is alright to say you were following orders or that some sadistic attorney at the Department of Justice thinks torture is legal.
If the photos are no worse then I don’t understand why they can’t be shown.
I guess they are just more college hazing stuff or that is what they would like us to believe.
They’re worse and you can take it to the bank. If the goodness and light administration says so then it is so and they are ordering us to believe them without question.
Yes, I know I should just swallow that Kool-Aid, but it isn’t going to happen. I know I should be as gullible as the rest, but it isn’t going to happen. Go ahead and tell me that I am aiding and abetting the enemy by not just kissing the butt of every abuser being paid with my tax money.
No, hell no, a thousand times over. Go ahead defend them for letting torturers and their enablers off the hook.
