Our special guests this week are Cherokee Nation Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr. and former Senate President Cal Hobson.

Sen. Hobson wrote the legislation that set the terms for the 15-year deals under which the tribes and state have been operating. Chief Hoskin is on the front lines of the federal court battle now underway over whether the compacts – as the tribal nations insist – automatically renewed on Jan. 1.
