Observercast

Breaking The Senate Drought

on

In the midterms four years ago, Kendra Horn shocked the political world, unseating an incumbent Republican congressman who thought he could coast to victory in Ruby Red Oklahoma. This year, Horn hopes to recreate the magic and become the state’s first Democratic U.S. senator in 28 years. For this week’s Observercast – the latest in our series of conversations with top-of-the-ticket candidates – Horn discusses her race against U.S. Rep. Markwayne Mullin who seems to think he, too, can coast to victory, even though polls show it’s tightened into a single-digit race.

The Observer carries on the "give 'em hell" tradition of its founder, the late Frosty Troy. I read it from cover to cover. A progressive wouldn't be able to live in a red state without it.
