No wonder Bice would ignore a question about the huge cuts made by the Trump Administration in medical research … about 40% to be exact. She and every other Oklahoma Republican lawmaker either sat on their asses in DC and did nothing to stop the destruction or fled the city during August to avoid being held accountable.
Bice has not held a public Town Hall for years, and no wonder. She would be asked about the hundreds of medical, weather, defense and associated quality jobs lost already to the rampages of ignorance led by the now departed Elon Musk.

Did you get yours? Of course not, but you could be directly affected now by the ravages of cancer, heart disease, diabetes or any other dozens of diseases rampant and getting worse in Oklahoma due to the aforementioned DOGE cuts Bice did nothing to stop.
She did not even issue a word of criticism about what that faceless bunch of bureaucrats were doing killing jobs, investments and important results here in Oklahoma. Not a press release or speech or comment or statement or memo back in April, May, June and July when the reductions were being implemented but now, while on “district work,” she visits the scene of the crimes and won’t even answer a question about the wreckage wrought.
No – no, no, no – her visit along with her legislative co-conspirators is a made for TV drop-by with the goal and hope designed to cover their tracks; lawmakers who did nothing, will do nothing about what has happened except to say it didn’t happen.
Facts are facts and that’s why Bice doesn’t want to meet with you, her constituents, but rather do what she did earlier this week which was nothing but a photo op.
