This year’s legislative session was one for the record books in terms of horrible, terrible, no-good ideas…particularly when it came to our LGBTQ and Two-Spirit friends, family members, and neighbors. We talked with Kao Morris from the Tulsa Equality Center about the impact that legislation like the anti-trans ban in sports has on young LGBTQ individuals, and, more importantly, why advocates like Morris and others keep fighting for equity and equality in spite of legislative dehumanization.
