Yet much work remains to correct the colonialism, mistreatment, broken treaties and disrespect heaped on generations of our Native brothers and sisters. For this week’s Observercast – Indigenous Peoples’ Day 2021 – Okmulgee attorney, Native law expert and social justice activist Brenda Golden, an enrolled member of the Muscogee [Creek] Nation, joins us to discuss state-tribal relations and possible ways forward to a brighter, more just future for all Oklahomans.
