Observercast

Oklahoma As An Abortion Haven

on

Reproductive rights are imperiled in America. Not only will the U.S. Supreme Court hear a Mississippi case this term that could overturn Roe v. Wade, but challenges to anti-abortion laws also are winding through state and federal courts across the country, including Oklahoma. For this week’s Observercast – Oklahoma As An Abortion Haven – ACLU Executive Director Tamya Cox-Toure explains what’s happening on the legal front and what Oklahomans can do to protect a woman’s right to choose.

UPDATE, 4:40 pm, Oct. 25: The state Supreme Court today blocked three new anti-abortion laws from taking effect Nov. 1 in Oklahoma.

The Observer carries on the "give 'em hell" tradition of its founder, the late Frosty Troy. I read it from cover to cover. A progressive wouldn't be able to live in a red state without it.
