Railroaded

on

BY RICHARD L. FRICKER

So we lost out on the federal rail money. Just proves the Feds are listening to Sen. Tom Coburn. Thank goodness he saved us from taking federal earmarked money.

And thanks to Oklahoma’s other senator, Jim Inhofe, for letting people know there is no need for mass transit because climate change is a hoax and there will be enough oil and clean air and water.

Now we can turn our attention to real matters, like guns, God and gays.

Thanks senators – you got Oklahoma the attention it deserves.

Oh, yes, thanks Tulsa World and Daily Oklahoman for supporting these useless clowns.

I have been informed by no less an august person than Tulsa World editor-at-large and former editorial page editor Ken Neal, for whom I have the utmost respect, that the Tulsa World did in fact support Democrat Brad Carson over Republican Tom Coburn. The error is mine. Thank you, Ken.

The Observer carries on the "give 'em hell" tradition of its founder, the late Frosty Troy. I read it from cover to cover. A progressive wouldn't be able to live in a red state without it.
