Imagine the boss buys everyone oversized shoes. They look ridiculous, but no one dares say a word. So, they put them on, stumble around, and pretend everything looks great.
It’s also a pretty good analogy for how this administration seems to work: nobody wants to tell Trump the truth, so they tell him what they think he wants to hear. And when leaders are surrounded by people too afraid to speak up, bad decisions get made.
Sometimes the result is just a clown show. Sometimes it’s a war in the Middle East.
