Oklahoma students are heading back to school this month amid a fourth COVID-19 wave that has sent infections, hospitalizations and deaths soaring. Further complicating matters, children under 12 still are not eligible for the coronavirus vaccines and a new state law prevents schools from imposing mask or vaccine mandates.
