The war-churning propaganda machine is proving stronger than ever in the widening Middle East series of conflicts.
Most of our news is reporting on the Iran War the same way it has for decades, and at this point it has become so entrenched in our society that whether we are in war in the Middle East or not would be an aside from our normal backdrop of politics, except half of the pretext of war is keeping war-criminals in power – and the crimes they’ve committed out of the news.
Of course, something [relatively] fresh on all our minds should be the Epstein Files. You may hear something every few days regarding them, but in question of our news cycle, it has probably been a few weeks since alarming news has been brought forward. Public sentiment largely followed the same course.
Alongside the release of a large amount of Epstein Files, Google Trends showed the peak search day of the files being Feb. 3 and a slope tapering off. On Feb. 27, search results concerning the Iran War skyrocketed, and since then we haven’t seen any progress regarding criminalization processes. And this is completely intentional.
We know our own president is guilty of a few crimes – 34 to be exact – but due to his own little “presidential immunity” he is getting away with all of these crimes, at least until he’s no longer president. Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, is currently on trial in his own country for three separate corruption cases, ranging from working behind the scenes for favorable media coverage to bribery. For years he has pleaded against this using his political position, and despite all the court showings, he has yet to be indicted on any charge.
Funny enough, Tucker Carlson’s show recently revealed some leaked footage concerning these trials.
However, these charges are not the only thing Netanyahu is standing for. The International Criminal Court has had a warrant for his arrest since Nov. 21, 2024, for war crimes and crimes against humanity. Of course, he hasn’t been brought to trial in any redeemable-for-humanity kind of way, partially due to the protections afforded by his own country.
In fact, his tyrannical tirade has killed – in Palestine alone – 72,000 men, women, and children and 171,000 have been injured. Ninety percent of civil structure has been destroyed, all done with the backing of the United States.
Palestine also isn’t the only place facing the hazard of Israel, as Lebanon is getting dragged into this war for Netanyahu’s reasons.
The same reason we’ve attacked Iran – the tireless argument of weapons of mass destruction [WMDs] – is the same reason Israel is attacking Lebanon. Hezbollah still has a presence in Lebanon, according to Israeli intelligence, and now over 1,200 people have died in Lebanon.
And this year the United States will be having its midterms.
In all fairness, Trump supports voting. Our voting should just be nationalized, controlled in 15-plus places, and “honest.” But then again, “when you think of it, we shouldn’t even have an election.” That’s what he told Reuters.
The possibility stands that the war in Iran could grow, at least according to the administration, and elections could be circumvented or controlled to the whim of Trump. And that is without a host of issues happening on the home front.
Now we can hold out hope that none of this would happen, but if it does the last opportunity for free and fair elections will be thrown out the window [or “defenestrated;” I know I shouldn’t put it in, but my friends have convinced me it will make the masses smarter.]
The most powerful men in the world sequester their secrets in favor of their power. They continue their wars to hide from the consequences of their actions, and it will continue.
Many modern narratives rely on well-known propaganda techniques designed to influence perception and emotional response. Understanding these methods can help readers better evaluate the information they encounter.
